Under the SCRA, creditors are required to reduce interest rates to no more than 6% on debts incurred before the service member entered active duty. This protection applies for the duration of my military service.
Additionally, I request a refund of any interest charges exceeding 6% that have been assessed since my active duty start date. Please apply this refund to my account balance or issue a check to my address on file.
