Who Can Terminate Early?
You Qualify If
- You leased the vehicle before entering active duty, OR
- You're on active duty and receive PCS orders, OR
- You receive deployment orders for 180+ days
Orders Required
- PCS (Permanent Change of Station) orders
- Deployment orders for 180+ days
- Orders to report for active duty (Guard/Reserve)

- Early termination fees
- Remaining lease payments
- Administrative fees
What You May Owe
- Excess mileage over lease allowance
- Excess wear and damage
- Outstanding balances due at time of termination
The Process
How to Terminate Your Lease
1
Contact Lease Company
Call the financing company (not the dealer) and request SCRA lease termination.
2
Submit Written Notice
Send written termination notice with a copy of your military orders.
3
Return Vehicle
Return the vehicle within 15 days of delivering your written notice.
4
Get Confirmation
Obtain written confirmation that the lease has been terminated.
